Programs
The Highland Center sponsors the Youth Employment Program, offering work experience to local teens. We also partner with the Community Foundation of the Central Blue Ridge to support the Youth Philanthropy Council.
We support local food and agriculture through the weekly Farmers' Market, community partnerships, membership in the local Food Coalition, and our kitchen space.

The Highland Center serves as a vibrant, multi-use community building and plays host to Highland's flourishing arts community.
The Highland Center partners with the Highland County Economic Development Authority, Highland County Chamber of Commerce, Highland Tourism Council and other groups committed to business incubation and economic revitalization
