2024 Farmers' Market Logo Contest

Rules:  Any student or youth in Highland County may participate either as individuals or as a team. Working together is encouraged but not required. Each student or team can only submit one design
 

Students can use any medium that best works for them to create an original work -- color pencil, oil or acrylic paint, and watercolors are welcome. Graphic Design is also an option, however, the design must only contain original art not graphics available on Canva or other Graphic Design sites.

 

Logo Requirements:

 -  must be original artwork

 - must include the words "Highland Farmers' Market"

 - logo must be contained to an 8.5x11 paper size

 - must not contain more than 6 colors

Criteria for choosing the best design are:

  - Clarity and simplicity

 - Creativity and innovation

 - Ease of reading and reproducing in both large and small formats

 - Representation of Highland growers, producers, and makers
 

Work must be submitted to Renee Vandevander at Highland County High School or to Jen Rattigan at the Highland Center by Friday May 17th.  Logos will be on display at the May 24th plant sale where people have the opportunity to vote on their favorite logos. The winner will be announced at the first farmers market on May 31st.

*Administrators of the HFM reserved the right to modify the design for printing and reproduction purposes.  Participation in the contest means accepting these rules.
